Swimming Pool Chemicals
The sterilisation of water is a key step for treating all types of public and private swimming pools. Water must be disinfected so that disease-based organisms are not spread and undesirable bacterial and algal development don’t take place. Chemicals that are not harmful or irritating to the swimmers are combined.
-
Calcium Hypochlorite – HTH. HICLONE, AQUAFIT.
-
SDIC (Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate)
-
TICCA (Trichloroisocyanuric Acid) are the compounds of chlorine and cyanuric acid that are widely used as a stabilizer in outdoor pools wherein the cyanuric acid prevents chlorine loss that occurs due to UV rays from the sun.
-
pH Plus/(Sodium Carbonate / Soda Ash) is used to increase the pH level.
-
pH Minus/Pool Acid (Sodium Bi-Sulphate) is a free flowing crystalline powder or granules to reduce pH value
-
ALGI GUARD is a commonly used chemical to prevent algal growth occurring in the swimming pool due to non-maintenance of adequate free chlorine residual levels in the water at all times FLOC GUARD is used to bind the finely suspended particles into bigger flocs for enabling filtering
-
Calcium Chloride is used to increase the calcium hardness in the pool.
-
Alkalinity Builder (Sodium Bicarbonate) is used to increase the alkalinity of the pool water and has negligible effect on the pH balance of the water.
